I first started with ferrets six years ago, before this I thought they were smelly, nippy creatures.

My first two ferrets are called Freddie and Taz and are still with me; from the moment I got them home I was fascinated with ferrets!!!!

Over time, people locally began to call me ‘the ferret woman’ because they had seen myself and my daughter walking our ferrets on their leads and harnesses.

The local vets (knowing I have ferrets) called me to ask if I could look after a stray ferret because they had no space, I said yes and so the idea of a ferret welfare for this area began!

This web-site aims to give information to all ferret owners and potential owners alike.
